Hounds of Renown Records is an independent record label owned and operated by music artist, saxophonist, composer and songwriter David Barrows. We are located in London, UK. We were established in 1996 in Oakland, California, USA. Dave created the label to release recordings of his own music and his collaborations with other artists. Our diverse catalog reflects Dave’s eclectic musical adventures.
We are also affiliated with our sister publishing company, Hounds of Renown Music (ASCAP / PRS), also created in the mid-1990s to release the music of David Barrows. Hounds of Renown Music is a publisher member of both ASCAP and PRS, and David Barrows is a writer member of both organisations.
